Photography is my first love. For over 40 years one of my greatest pleasures has been observing the world in an unorthodox way and preserving those visions.  There is no limit to what we can see on a daily basis, but I became dedicated to witnessing what we don't see or, perhaps more precisely, the things I felt I had never perceived.

Photography is as much education as it is art. What can I learn from the subject? The surroundings? My camera? My self? The challenge is to keep from hiding behind the lens and allowing that moment of clicking the shutter to be integrated with, not replacing, the power of the moment.
